An array of holiday activities are happening this month in Frisco Square, just minutes from the Lexington Frisco community of new homes in Frisco.

The star attraction of Christmas in the Square is the choreographed light and music show every night from 6-10 p.m. This free show features more than 180,000 lights, 200 dancing snowflakes and 10 songs. Tune in to 107.3 FM to hear the music in your vehicle. You can also hear it playing through speakers while you walk in the Square and enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season. As the biggest event of its kind in North Texas, the show attracts more than 75,000 visitors each year. The light show runs until January 6.

Skate the Square is an outdoor skating rink open until January 8. The 80’x55’ rink is the area’s only outdoor rink made with real ice. Purchase tickets online at Friscosquare.com for $20 per person for one hour. Skates are available at no extra charge. The rink is closed on Christmas Day and during inclement weather.

What holiday event would be complete without the jolly guy himself? Kids can visit Santa on weekend evenings until December 23. Other Christmas on the Square activities include a light tunnel and horse-drawn carriage rides. Most activities are open until January 8, 2024. Fees apply, but group discounts are available.

Scout Troop 51 will be selling fresh cut Christmas trees on the weekends until December 22, while supplies last.
